To those of you who have seen ‘Beyond the Rise’, my first DVD, Hello again. To those of you whose acquaintance I haven’t previously made, ‘Hello and welcome to my world.’For the most part, it’s a tranquil world. A haven of babbling back waters, insect buzz and birdsong. But, every now and then, it’s also a place of eager anticipation, adrenalin and activity.

These are the moments that keep us coming back... to answer The Call of the Chalk Stream. For my world is the world of the wild, brown trout and the quaintly named ‘lady of the stream’, the grayling. I first set foot in this entrancing world just ten short years ago, but it’s a place I visit with ever increasing frequency, whenever time and other commitments allow ( and often when they don’t! )

The other locations are lakes and rivers in my beloved Wiltshire. That's as precise as I'll be... us fishing folk may be friendly, but certain things have to stay secret!
